Pithy Hat

Currently, I am working on a pithy hat that uses a modified purse stitch for knitting in the round:

round 1:*yo, p 2 tog* repeat til end
round 2: *YO, k2 tog (TBL)* repeat til end
Repeat rounds 1 and 2 until desired length.
